Yoga & Medication retreat offers a deeper understanding of how you can use yoga asanas for mental health. Through the practice of some asanas our energy level, mind patterns and habits can be changed. In the retreat, T Yoga will show you the role of breathing in your life and how it creates opening and change in the self. A better quality of breath gives you a better quality of life.
Besides yoga asana and pranayama we will work with the 5 elements to heal and detoxify physically, mentally and emotionally. You will get understanding and experience of how we can cure our body and mind without the use of any herbs or medicine.
Yoga will especially focus on emotional detoxification kriyas: how you can release the side effects of your negative emotions. The detoxification with 5 elements include mud and water treatments, breathing techniques as well as teachings how you can increase the fire element and ether element (fasting)
The purpose of this retreat is to help the body and mind heal so that you can gain more inner stability and strength to deal with situations in life.
During this course, you will be served three daily vegetarian yogic meals. A healthy and happy life depends on a healthy routine and a balanced diet. The food is carefully supervised and is prepared in a very natural and yogic manner while promoting the use of seasonal vegetables and fruits and avoiding all the artificially prepared edibles.
As there might be a slight difference in the local conditions from other places, students might find a couple of dishes on the menu unfamiliar, but no need to worry. The cooks will give their best efforts to prepare the food with utmost devotion and love which could cater to the needs of nourishment of all the layers of your personality.
Often the vegetarian food is vegan as well, and if not, there will always be vegan dishes available for the vegan students. Also, food allergies like dairy or gluten allergy Yoga can provide enough options to serve foods according to your needs.
